Finish range
Twenty-nine finishes on metal, each photographed under the same light so they can be compared. Every sheet says how the finish is obtained, how it is protected and how it is cleaned: it is the sheet you need to close a specification, not a gallery.
In the grid the samples are normalised for light so they can be compared; in the detail viewer you get the original photograph, where the directional reflection is the metal's own.

How it is organised
- Clear coated
- The metal stays visible: the surface is worked, sealed with a clear coat, and the colour is the alloy's own.
- Satin and brushed
- Light is broken mechanically by a grain — straight, crossed or orbital. The direction of the scratch is part of the design.
- Clouded
- Oxidation applied by pad, deliberately uneven: the tone gathers in clouds and no two pieces are identical.
- Patinated
- Chemical patinas that age the surface under control, from the lightest tone through to rose.
- Marble effect
- Veining drawn by hand in successive coats of paint: the metal takes on the pattern of stone while staying metal.
- Oxidised and burnished
- Deep burnishing and oxidation: the colour comes from a chemical reaction in the alloy, not from a pigment laid on top.
- Textured
- Surfaces where the relief or the inclusion is felt by hand before it is seen.
